While it is unlikely, there is a chance that a petition may fall outside of the normal processing times of the USCIS. If this happens, a service request will be filed promptly with the USCIS to get the petition back on track.
- Continuous Legal Counsel
The immigration process is not user-friendly. Any questions or concerns while the visa petition is pending will be answered promptly.
- Assembly of the Consulate Interview Forms
As soon as the visa petition is approved by the USCIS, the forms needed for the interview will be prepared.
- Second Consultation
Explanation of the consulate interview process and any potential issues that may arise.
- Fiance or Spouse Interview Preparation
Once an interview date is scheduled, your fiance or spouse will be prepared. Any potential issues will be discussed and general consulate procedures will be explained.
- Legal Advice Upon Entry to USA
Depending on what visa your significant other received, there may be more steps in the immigration process. For example, K1 fiance visa holders must marry their fiance within 90 days of entry and apply to adjust their status. K3 visa holders have 2 years to adjust their status. Some K1 fiance visa holders may need to travel to their native country after their marriage to attend to an ailing family member. All of these situations will be handled and proper advice given.
