Suspect in Shooting had Deportation Hearing

A man who has been accused of shooting at police deputies was reportedly the subject of deportation proceedings this year. Jose Manuel Gonzalez-Sandoval has not been caught in a matter where he violated an order of protection at his ex-wife's home and shot at two officer. Furthermore, as a Mexican citizen, he is a lawful permanent resident of the United States, but his residency has previously been questioned and almost revoked due to his criminal convictions. He was then set to go through a deportation hearing.
