An immigrant who was acquitted of plotting a terror attack is now apparently facing deportation. This comes after the U.S. lifted its post-earthquake ban on repatriating people to Haiti. Lyglenson Lemorin is currently in a facility for criminal deportees designated for removal to Haiti. His lawyer has reportedly filed a request for release from custody on humanitarian grounds. The acquittal reportedly does not preclude an immigration court from considering the man's deportation.
