Farm Worker Visa Rules Change

The US Labour Department has now made a new rule that employers seeking H-2A visas for agricultural staff will have to submit proof that they tried to employ local staff first. Those who employ farm works fear that this new law will make the process of finding staff much more difficult and complicated. It's believed that the vast majority of agricultural workers are US
work visa holders from abroad. This is a welcome change for farm worker unions as the law will also allow for fair pay.
