Eric Balderas will not be deported as a result of not having the correct U.S. visas to allow him to live in the U.S. or study in the U.S. The Harvard student ran into trouble when he was trying to board a plane to San Antonio with his university ID card. Reportedly, the student was granted deferred action which can be used to halt deportation depending on a case's merits.
