Man Faces Deportation after Burglary

A man in California who entered the United States legally as an infant 37 years ago is now facing deportation after serving time for burglary and possessing stolen property. When the man, Mark Matute, signed a form that had him pleading no contest, it also informed him clearly that a noncitizen who committed the crime could be deported.
