Senators Move to Strip U.S. Citizenship for Terrorists

Senators Joe Lieberman and Scott Brown have introduced a bill that would revoke the U.S. citizenship of suspected terrorists if the State Department finds they are affiliated with a foreign terrorist organization. They have noted that once a person's citizenship is revoked, the Department of Justice would have a choice of trying the individual in a military commission or a federal court.
