A Mississippi man is fighting to have his partner who suffers from HIV remain in the U.S. with him. The country's travel ban on those with HIV has been lifted, but the two men still struggle to be together. Roi Whaley had his partner in the U.S. on a work visa. Now, his partner is in Canada where his mother is a legal permanent resident. However, he may be deported to his home of the Philippines where he could face assault for being gay.
