Student Facing Deportation

A student leader at a South Texas university is reportedly facing deportation although he is close to graduating. According to reports, the student may be deported to Mexico as he entered illegally when he was a teenager. The teen originally came to the U.S. in 2003 on a visitor visa that expired in 2005. When his father wouldn't help him renew it, he reportedly snuck back into the U.S. His mother is currently married to a U.S. citizen and he has since tried to legalize his status through that.
