Deployed Service Members Become U.S. Citizens

About 44 deployed U.S. service members have reportedly recently been sworn in as U.S. citizens. According to reports, the new citizens were from 24 different countries. The soldiers had to go through interviews, background checks and testing before being sworn in as citizens. Some of the soldiers have been in the U.S. for years while others for much shorter amounts of time.
