New U.S. Citizens Sworn In

A naturalization ceremony took place in Pensacola, Florida that had 83 immigrants being sworn in as U.S. citizens. According to reports, the new citizens were from a number of different countries including Colombia. One man has been in the U.S. for nine years and took seven years to gain his citizenship status. He was already a permanent resident of the U.S., but has now gained the right to vote as a result of his new status.
