A Guatemalan man who faces deportation from Portland, Maine has friends who do not want the event to occur. Selvin Arevalo's friends are reportedly staging prayer sit-in at the officers of two senators. They are hoping that the senators will vote to pass the federal Dream Act so the man can benefit from the matter. The act would allow immigrants who came to the country as children to gain legal permanent residency and citizenship if they meet certain conditions.
