Mets' player Hisanori Takahashi is waiting to secure a
work visa to be able to play baseball. The Japanese left-hander will not be able to pitch in a game in which admission is charged until he receives his work visa in the U.S. Takahashi was going to pitch during the team's first spring training game against the Braves, but will not be doing so because of the visa situation.
