High school classmates learned that a fellow student was deported to El Salvador despite their support. The student and his family had come to the U.S. illegally. The family had been scheduled to meet with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, but it was reported that the student could still be deported by himself. The student was held in detention at the Carver County Jail and then deported after attempts at a stay had been denied.
